The Project

The single story, 26,000 square foot facility featuring 24 cardiovascular training machines, 10 fixed motion strength machines, and an array of free motion strength training equipment. The rubber-surfaced, collegiate sized basketball court features retractable divider curtains for maximum participation in basketball and volleyball.

Located outside the perimeter of the court is a rubber-surfaced, three lane walking/running track. The building pad for the new facility was constructed on engineered fill and raised 5.5’ to avoid the 100-year flood plain. The building envelop combines a pre-engineered metal building system with a conventional masonry load bearing system.
