OUR HISTORY

Get to know WAICG and why they care.

Formally a wholly owned subsidiary of Wastren Advantage Inc (WAI), WAICG was not included in the January 2018 VNS-FS acquisition of WAI. Following the 2018 acquisition, WAICG, keeping the same ownership, re-organized and became certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) as a small business in facility support services, environmental remediation and construction. In addition, in 2020 the SBA certified WAICG to participate in the Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone) program.

We are an employer. WAICG believes people make our enterprise great. We invest in qualified people with a commitment to excellence, professionalism, and teamwork to be part of the WAICG family. WAICG empowers the communities where we do business by investing in local organizations, developing local programs and partnerships, and mobilizing resources to encourage positive growth. We are a team player. While WAICG has extensive experience as a prime contractor, we also understand the importance of working with others. WAICG plays a vital role on various teams including joint ventures, LLC’s and more. Lastly we are a prime contractor. Our diverse project portfolio includes multiple federal prime contracts for DOE; NASA; EPA; USDA; DOI; USAF; OANG; and numerous commercial entities.

Steve Moore

Owner/President & CEO

Steve joined WAICG in January 2018 following the VNS-FS acquisition of WAICG’s then parent company Wastren Advantage Inc (WAI) where he served as Owner/President & CEO from 2005 through 2017. Steve holds a J.D. with a B.S. in Natural Science and an A.S. in Plastic/Chemical Engineering Technology. Steve has more than 25 years' experience in technical and project management.

Doug Collins

Owner/Executive Vice President

Doug joined WAICG in January 2018 following the VNS-FS acquisition of WAICG’s then parent company Wastren Advantage Inc (WAI) where he served as Owner/Director, Project Management Office from 2005 through 2017. Doug holds a B.S. in Natural Science, a B.S. in Chemistry, and he is a certified Project Management Professional. Doug has more than 25 years' experience in project management and project controls.

Scott Moore

Vice President Business Development

Scott joined WAICG in January 2018 following the VNS-FS acquisition of WAICG’s then parent company Wastren Advantage Inc (WAI) where he served as Business Development Specialist from 2014 through 2017. Scott holds a B.S in Environmental Design/Architecture and an A.S. in Civil Engineering. Scott has more than 30 years' experience in the A/E/C industry.

Dennis Tackett

Vice President of Operations

Dennis joined WAICG in 2018 as the Vice President of Operations. Dennis' professional experience includes more than 30 years' working in project management and field operations.

Joe Barton

Business Manager

Joe joined WAICG in 2019 as Business Manager. Joe directs and coordinates all activities in Contracts, Accounting/Finance, Information Technology, Project Controls, and Human Resources. Joe holds a B.S. in Business and a B.A. in Economics. Joe has more than 25 years' experience in finance and management.

J. Mark Rollins

President of Construction Services

Mark joined WAICG in January 2018 following the VNS-FS acquisition of WAICG’s then parent company Wastren Advantage Inc (WAI) where he served as Senior Project Manager from 2015 through 2017. Mark has more than 35 years' experience project management and construction administration.

Ben Allen

Senior Project Manager Special Projects

Ben joined WAICG in January 2018 following the VNS-FS acquisition of WAICG’s then parent company Wastren Advantage Inc (WAI) where he served as a Project Manager. Ben holds a M.S. in Construction Management and a B.S. in Business Management. Ben has more than 15 years' experience in the A/E/C industry.
