Wastren-EnergX Mission Support
WAICG was the managing partner of Wastren-EnergX Mission Support, LLC (WEMS), a small business joint venture with EnergX, LLC, created in 2010 to perform duties as a DOE prime contractor on the Facility Support Services (FSS) contract at the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant (PORTS) in Piketon, Ohio.
The Project
WEMS consistently received exceptional CPARS from DOE during the contract, as well as award fees between 93 and 98 percent from 2014 through 2016. Our outstanding performance on this contract was recognized by the client with the award of 2014 DOE 8(a) Contractor of the Year and 2015 DOE Small Business of the Year.
WEMS sustained safety performance throughout the contract – working 2,231 days without a Lost Workday Case. There were no lost time accidents, which included 1,404,649 work hours (through 2014).
WEMS’ employed 155 employees to plan, organize, manage and perform multiple PWS activities that composed the PORTS FSS prime contract.
